It is things like these that makes a grassroots approach so important.

People helping people, without all the red tape.

Literally getting people on the ground to go out and get the aid to the victims.

Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that "the commissions" or "costs" that some of the "charities" such as The Red Cross take are small.

If we the people do not go about taking care of our fellow human beings and ensuring that those who need it get it, then who will?
We surely can't accept the types of answers we are hearing from the names charity organization.
I guess there needs to be put a big red cross through some names on the list of charities to donate to.
or just maybe, people who are there can say what it is they need, to whom exactly to send help to and that way the problems of abuse can be solved.
Sorry for this disturbing post and no matter what is true or not about the fiasco mentioned in the above articles, it is heatbreaking to listen to and read through.
