Great vid. Currently we are struggling with a mic situations. We have a Rode videomic me and we are planning to get the external cable to use it for our Sony a7Rii but we are thinking about the quality? Do you have any thoughts or suggestions on this? Or we are better with just getting a new mic?
Cheers! ;)

Sony pre-amps are pretty good, that would be nice if you can get a decent stereo 3.5mm jack for it. If you have a bit extra to spend, the go is nice, but my favourite now is the PRO or the PRO+ --- My rig is getting bigger and bigger LOL

For my voice I think the more expensive one would be better, I would sound slightly soft ... no dull... flat? With the cheaper one anyways , my iPhone does a surprisingly good job it’s just quiet and needs 200% boost lmao

the preamps on iphones are surprisingly good

I have to jacket up in the editing software, but yeah I am quite surprised

Sounds good in your videos :)

The video mic pro+ sounds better than the Go, But is it worth to spend 350$ on a microphone ?
Well, I'd say if you're a professional then yes, If you're a noob just buy the VideoMicro . It's a really good starting microphone!

Yeah the Vid Micro is an amazing mic. I have it also. Great little guy lol
