Importance of attention

By doing such, we make every challenges and opportunities clear in front of us. By listening well, we can learn every perspective.
Listening well is an exercise of attention and by necessity hard work. Mistakes can be corrected by those who pay attention. Every situations of misunderstandings in the world, every riot, bloodshed, wars, quarrels family level to the national level can be remedied by taking time in listening to each other.
Even pay attention to who you think your enemy is, they might have a perspective which can change your hatred towards them or theirs about you.
Everybody really wants is attention; we just want someone to pay attention to us, but not ready to give our attention because it is energy taking task.
We must open our minds while listening, and closed mindset compels us to judge before we listen, by judging we only pay attention to the things which are agreeable to us, because after initially learning something that is disagreeable to us, it is human nature to question everything that follows, and then we go in opposite direction from truly listening. We have to stop judging before we pay attention and listen.
After listening, we have to contemplate and come up with thoughtful decisions for better future. We have to initialize this practice from a smaller level, like making this learning available to our upcoming generations.
We spend a large amount of time teaching children how to read, a very small amount of time teaching them how to speak and usually no time at all teaching them how to listen, we would be wise to give children some instruction in the process of listening, not so that listening can be made easy but rather that they will understand how difficult and how important it is to listen well.
What someone is saying, is important, regardless of whoever is saying it. We have no idea what anyone can teach us anytime or we can do for them by truly giving our attention to them. That's why we need to listen every human regardless of their age, standards, religion, nationality.
This is how we will come to know about the world, our joy's and sorrows combined, and fulfill this tedious act of love.
