Melted Stripes (Rayas derretidas)
Hi, steemit's friends.
Today I bring you a job that I did as a task in my center of studies. This task consisted of doing several jobs with lines. Among them I made this zebra made with ink for stamps (because in my country (My city) you don't get Chinese or Indian ink), focusing on just painting the dark parts of the zebra, such as the stripes and eyes, and let the blank spaces complete the image.
(I tried to do the effect of "melting" with the ink and the dryer, but it didn't look so good 😔)

Hoy les traigo un trabajo que realicé como tarea en mi centro de estudios. Esta tarea consistía en hacer varios trabajos con líneas. Entre ellos realicé esta cebra hecha con tinta para sellos (porque en mi país (Mi ciudad) no se consiguen la tinta china ni india), centrándome en solo pintar las partes oscuras de la cebra, como las franjas y ojos, y dejar que con los espacios en blanco la imagen se autocomplete.
(Traté de hacer el efecto ese de "derretirse" con la tinta y el secador, pero no me quedó tan bien 😔)

As a curious note, for the title of this post I was inspired by the disney movie Racing Stripes (2005).
This is a nice and creative attempt at drawing a zebra using negative space :) I like it, @sosadraws :)
Hermosa cebra, en la imagen noto que se están derritiendo las lineas. No se exactamente como querías que quedara.
Me gustaría ver el proceso de tu trabajo, tal vez pueda aprender de ti, haces unos dibujos muy encantadores, yo estoy aprendiendo a dibujar caricaturas.
¿puedes creer que yo no pueda dominar ese estilo de dibujo?

Hola @francisftlp, y a mi me cuesta dibujar realismo con colores. Creo que lo más cercano al realismo fue este caballo que dibujé cuando tenía como 11 o 12 años, ni siquiera le colocaba la fecha a mis obras 😋
oye pero vas por buen camino, esta hermoso ese caballo, se ve realmente bien. no debes abandonarlo.

Very nice drawing. I actually like the 'melting' effect. Maybe you need to practice it a little bit more often but it is good :)
