El caracol Fabio vivía solo e incomunicado en un prado muy lejano, lejos del resto de los caracoles donde se convirtió el hazme reír de su barrio.

Todos se burlaban de su aspecto, tenía unos dientes muy grandes y alargados. Un día tomo la decisión de aislarse por enamorarse. Ella era la linda caracola Aurora, a quien manifestó su amor en una carta que escribió… y está en media plaza la leyó, burlándose y llamándolo ¡Dientón!

¡Y así de “Dienton” el barrio lo catalogo y de allí en adelante se burlo!
asado el tiempo… un día se encuentra con una caracola que había padecido un accidente (una moto la había arrollado y su coraza en la espalda había deteriorado)

¡Todos los de su especie la habían abandonado y de ella por lo maltrecha se burlaron!
¡Hasta su pretendiente en medio de burlas la había dejado ¡

El caracol Fabio, reconoció a su amada Aurora, se le acerco y a su casa invito, le dio de comer y con pegamento y purpurina reparo e hizo su caparazón resplandecer. Aurora se sentía avergonzada, la vida le dio una lección de humildad que nunca llegaría a olvidar, recibió ayuda de quien un día destrozaría el corazón entre burlas por el hecho de ser distinto y no tan agraciado como los demás. Comprendió que lo más lindo y hermoso es lo que hay en el corazón.

Una vez terminado su caparazón, Fabio a la entrada de caracolandía la llevó; allí todos los que le dieron a Aurora la espalda, incluyendo su fanfarrón, pedante y apuesto pretendiente al verla distinta y deslumbrante con su purpurina se acercaron y hablaban como si nada.

Aurora, ya no los veía igual, había cambiado su sentir y pensar. Detrás notaron la presencia de Fabio y rápidamente entre todos lo comentaron y miraron… gritaban todos burlas y agravios.

Aurora, levanto la voz y recalco: ¡Ustedes viven de lo superficial, son una vergüenza en verdad! No me quisieron ayudar y ahora a Fabio le gritan “Dientón”, cuando es alguien con la mayor belleza interna que al exterior se pueda reflejar, que la emana como un dulce manantial. ¿Qué les pasa? ¿Dónde queda la humildad de cada uno de ustedes?

Todos se miraron el uno al otro muy avergonzados y se disculparon. Aurora y Fabio los perdonaron y con el tiempo déjenme decirles que se casaron.
