I am one of the featured artists in The Manhattan Art Magazine in New York.
“I love designing a figure into an almost, abstract background and making it speak out and be heard. Making the viewer engage with it by self-reflection.
Francis Bacon said, ‘The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery’. That is what I am hoping my body of work will do, induce viewers to start exploring ‘mystery’ in their lives.
One of my favorite artists is Modigliani. He could express personality with so little effort; his figures did not have eyes and yet you felt you knew them.”
It's so weird to me how shifting images away from realism can make it speak so much more to (my subconscious mind?).
