I don't like chat rooms either. I prefer discussions on forums/groups. I do like to get to know people one on one, but, not everyone is comfortable messaging in private. I'm glad to know there are people willing to help others out here. I see that in my volunteering at the animal shelter & the pet groups I belong to on Facebook. So often when money is involved, people are looking out for their own best interests. This is run differently than other sites. Many of them have buyers & sellers. The upside, you can build a relationship. The downside, it may take awhile to get there & even have anyone make an order initially. It seems much more simple here. It would be, if everyone voted more often. We'd all be able to do decently.
at our level you can only vote 6-8 times and if I vote to much on your comments i will take most of your curation reward and i don't want to do that

I wasn't aware of that. When do we get to the point where we can vote as much as we'd like? They're probably trying to keep it fair & equitable. Left to one's own devices & having an infinite amount of votes, they realize most would always give them to the same people. However, even keeping a limit on it, many will still only vote for certain people. To truly make it fair & equitable, they would say, ok, you can vote 10 times a day, but, it has to be for a different person each time. If you tried to vote for someone you already have, it would block it. It seems, how it is currently, the same people will regularly be at the top whether they provide good content or not. Just because of the followers they have. As I mentioned in my post, what I'm seeking are blog owners I can have a friendly working relationship with. I know I can't find that here. It's not setup that way. I am with a site that I'm both a buyer & seller. Right now I'm looking for marketers, as, promotion is not my strong suit. I don't know if that's your forte.

What's a slider? I put up a post about my profile pic. No one has answered it. I don't see any pic. Do you? If not, I'm thinking I used the wrong link. Unless, support has to approve the pic first.

Instructions for adding a pic shouldn't be complex. Most places have a person upload the pic from their device. I've rarely been on a site that required a link.
I was able to get it to show. I figured I'd just try the different URLs until one took.
you drag it from the folder on your computer . some of this is a little tricky for instance
chatting in a blog is frowned upon because it takes away from others who made comments and vote on the subject of your post , decreases their reward in curation reward . people who contributed to your post and the subject . why should they support you if you decrease their reward or wast their vote on it .
Quality post and quality comments . can you say that these comments are a quality input to your post . why should then these comments not get down voted or flagged . This post is not an open form . I offered to help for nothing in exchange . my offer still stands in a form but controlled educational form .not in a post . I am a 44 rep worked hard for it can't afford a flag or downvote . I hope you understand
