Important Announcement ArtAtSteemfest3 - Calling Artists and Photographers!!!

ArtAtSteemfest3 will be happening again this year,
with some upgrades!
ArtAtSteemfest has been a very well supported facet of Steemfest the past two years,
and I have no doubt that this year will top those experiences even still.
The weekend at Steemfest3 in Krakow, Poland
will include the works of dedicated artists from the Steem Blockchain.
The venue is a multimedia expo room, walking distance from both hotels,
where a pop-up gallery of artworks will be rotating all-around-you
in 360 degree animated projection!
The gallery will be curated to include top notch art,
and as many artists as possible.
CALL FOR ARTISTS:
All artists with (digitized) artwork (photo, painting) are encouraged to submit
ONE of their BEST works for consideration.
Share a high resolution of your artwork (no print this time but,
1000+ pixels preferably for best results).
There is no guarantee all submitted art will make it for this showing,
so be sure to give it your best shot!

as well as hotel, ticket, speaker and other pertinent information.

Though this year's exhibit will be quite different from the last,
(as it was curated with hands-on prints),

Ya this was a cool space last year! Full of excellent works and inspiring creations. Fun times jamming too ;)
That was sooo much fun. I revisited a couple of the videos while preparing this post and enjoyed it almost as much as being there. I'm so glad you guys jumped into the sound in this space, and gave us all opportunity to join in. May we be blessed for a repeat in some moment in time! Glad to see you here @jaybird.

Really anticipating this years fest! Will be great to see u again. We’ve been lucky these past few months in Toronto especially. A few of out steem friends have past through and reached out to us! It’s been a lot of fun to meet them in the flesh and hang/exchange ideas!

Steemit Art contest, collaborations, challenges.... even just the opportunity to post my anything work and just put it out there has been a gift. The openness and inclusiveness of this platform has helped me reengage with my own creativity in a safe nurturing group. I am currently working on a drawing / mix medium... maybe painting, on canvas. Perhaps for submission into a contest in my city. The theme is The green way. The Greenway is a piece of old rail track that has been reopened with a light rail system. It is also a nature corridor through inner urban Sydney and connects two waterways. Along the rail there has been rezoning and hideous high rise developments. The "Greenway" seeks to sell both urban living and preservation. I am working on an abstract juxtaposition that challenges if that is even possible. It is a desirable gentrified marketing notion, but is it really possible to have both?
I just wanted to let you know about it. For 2 reasons. Firstly because I think the theme is aligned with your own life philosophy (utilising urban space for betterment.)
Secondly because collaborative projects on steemit, (not least of those, yours), have lead me to this stage where I am taking the next step in my own creative process.
When you displayed one of my entries on the wall of a previous fest it was a timely boost during a difficult time. I hadn't anticipated that this would be a protracted challenge but it has been. Seeing it again in the image here has also served as encouragement to keep trying and keep digging up the motivation.

Wow @girlbeforemirror. What a great project all around! So glad you have the inspiration to take on such an inspiring creation. If you write any posts about this, I want to know. I'm sure this will be a welcome site for the history lovers, and give them something valuable to think about.
Steem has really been a blessing to so many. I especially think this platform is great for artists as we have an instant audience of appreciators--genuine exchange and immediate connections. I love that it helped you too through some difficult times, and that you just keep on with the flow.
Perhaps you will get it finished in time to submit it to this year's ArtAtSteemfest. Having another masterpiece from you would surely be a blessing. Much love to you @girlbeforemirror! <3

It was too early last time to understand about steemfest as i joined and saw so many post about steemfest . everyone was talking about stemfest and I came across many posts about it. It was my early days. But the excitement and exuberence behind the fest was very clear from each post. It did not took me long to understand about the mega event....and this time around i can feel the same everywhere @roelandp knows how to bring and put the best.......hope to see some amazing stuff this year too....all the best the entire team👍

I joined in August 2016, and Steemfest1 in November came up so fast, almost without even realizing the value of it. Of course, once I went, it was undeniable, and the contacts made were so juicy. I was amazed at how everyone felt like "family", even though many I hadn't even encountered on Steemit yet. It was like old home week. Everyone was so generous, loving and excited to be together. Steemfest2 was a no-brainer. No way was I going to miss it. And these just happen to fall on my birthday, so I'm especially blessed.
@roelandp does indeed throw an incredible bash--really unbelievably high class, so smooth like clockwork. He really does deserve the community's support and applause. If one day you go, you'll know what I mean.
The joy that comes through in the photos really is what it is. So much laughter, so many hugs--as if we've known each other all along. Magical!
I can imagine it @everlove last year i joined in oct and at same time all of the user were busy in preparation....and everyone was quite excited....it was great. Hopefully I would make it one day and get a chance to meet everyone....your photos just refresh my memory...i have seen them before ...👍

Steemfest is indeed worth living again! So many beautiful moments with so many beautiful people. It's really quite a surprise when feeling such a family vibe from "strangers". Shines the light on the truth that we are all connected.
Exactly...great minds at one place..looking forward to get glimpses from inside the fest after one month

I think I did see this when it was posted and entered a SIngularity piece, I believe. I hope I did it right.
Oh, I can't wait to go to a steemfest, but can't this year as it is right in the middle of my en route travel :/ Oh well.
This looks like so much fun hanging with other steemit artists setting up a show! I wonder if we could ever do a steemit artists show in London just as a pop up sort of exhibit?
I hope next years steemfest is in London in November :) or in the US East Coast in Spring :) for my own selfish reasons.
Steemfest is indeed worth the time, $$, and energetic investment. The art space is, of course, one of my favorite places to hang out, as you can just feel the inspiration flowing potently in the room. I've had some really great inspired ideas for this year's ArtAtSteemfest, but the surround vision is incredibly exciting all on its own.
Perhaps I will see you at SF one of these years @donnadavisart. I love it in the first part of November, as it is a fine way to celebrate my birthday.
I hope your submission went through too. I have no doubt it will be an amazing addition to the exhibit.

It really was amazing--such a fine display of inspiration from all over the world. Hopefully a lot of photos and videos will be shared from SF3, so everyone can enjoy the feeling. Thanks for the comment @erikah.
