I want to go to sketch every day on a clear day.

Arisugawa-river flowing near home.It is a familiar river for me since I came to live in my present house.
I drew a pencil and a clear watercolor on the drawing paper.

There are a lot of fields in this area, and a calm scenery spreads.

When I was drawing, I was able to draw while feeling the daily life of ordinary people by the person who was walking passing by the side and the greeting, and hearing the sound of turning the washing machine from a nearby private house.

Because I am an impatient one, I paint a different color next to it before it dries and smudge it, and, though it is not so common as the picture made.

But it is a favorite scenery that I drew with feelings. Arisugawa-river is a river which becomes a mountain stream from kanku-Teratani in the north of Saga-Daikakuji Temple, intersects with Nishi-takasegawa-river in Sagano, and pours south to Katsuragawa-river. I thought it might be good to try drawing from another point.

もう、晴れた日には毎日スケッチに行きたい最近の私、今日もスケッチに行きました。

自宅近くを流れる有栖川。現在の家に住むようになってから、私にとっては身近な川です。
画用紙に、鉛筆と透明水彩で描きました。
このあたりは田畑も多く残っていて、穏やかな風景が広がっています。

絵を描いていると、ウォーキングをしている人がそばを通りかかって挨拶をしてくれたり、近くの民家から洗濯機を回す音が聞こえてきたりして、庶民の日常の生活を感じながら描くことができました。

私はせっかちなものだから、絵具が乾かないうちに隣に違う色を塗ってにじませてしまったりと、絵の出来としてはいまいちなのですが。

でも気持ちを込めて描いたお気に入りの風景です。

有栖川は嵯峨大覚寺北方の観空寺谷から渓流となり、嵯峨野で西高瀬川と交差し、南下して桂川に注いでいる川です。他の地点から描いてみるのもいいかもしれないなあと思いました。
