RE: 🎬 Original art: VIDEO-Performance: 🦋 Dance, paint, Led lights

Very nice! I wish I could've seen this in person. The video you've produced is of good quality as well - not just the stagnant 'one camera on a tripod' stuff you usually see when they document performances. So kudos to NINC as well.

How has paintloon taken on? I bet you could do tons of workshops and similar performances at all sorts of parties, clubs etc?

I found your page through @shlomit's post today and am very happy I took the time to find out. Definitely following you!

Kindest regards,
Esa

Terve;) dear Vimma, thank you, yes likewise, I did find you also through Shlomit's post.

To be honest I don't want to teach paintloon because it is something very unique and I consider only mine. I am so tired of copy paste "cats" taking my ideas and imitating my work, it has happened soooo many times and the cases made me very sad. So I have reduced in general also the teaching. At the moment I am interested in teaching mainly art theory & hands-on drawing & painting.

This event was organized by one of my best friends. Otherwise, I work for events only if they book me and pay me very very well;))). In general, I am hoping to get a University teaching position, because I like to teach art in the depth, not scratching the surface.

My art is a mix of very modern and old elemnts but in some ways I am conservative. My life style is very healthy and big events with drunk or high people really annoy me;))).

Hello again and sorry for the late reply! I've been meaning to return as quickly as possible but as usual, my memory is like a sieve..

I often have a difficult time shooting events like gigs because of the very same reason: I find it uncomfortable to knock about with my camera in tight spaces filled with people who are experiencing alternating consciousnesses, hehe. Usually it's worth to push myself against the comfort zone but obviously the situation is different with you as you'd be the performing artist.

Copying other people's inventions is quite cheap and unfortunate. At least back here art is somewhat poorly appreciated by the general public as the current attitude seems to be "why should I pay for any art experiences as they might be offered for free. Like the old 'how about I give you visibility for free' etc.

I'm very glad of bumping into likes of you here on steemit and am looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning. I don't think I'll ever be ready - learning is a lifelong task and experience and a big deal of making it (or basically anything) worthwhile.
