Good evening Steemit!

I’m still hanging out at @caffetto, sketching with @kommienezuspadt and @swarddraws. I’m trying not to run myself dry creatively so I’m doing some fun sketches with white pencil today. I’ve sketched this way before- on a black background but using this specific green feels right since it’s my signature color.

I played a couple of rounds of Magic with @dartstrife and @tarotbyfergus, nabbing myself a single win. It was my reward for getting a post up on the blog earlier this afternoon. I tried sketching more thumbnails but I couldn’t focus. It was taking me longer to get the right shadows down and I kind of blame the digital brushes. I’m thinking of finding my sketchbook, grab my pencils and see if that makes a difference.

Here’s a fun little gif since this sketch was completed relatively quickly. I haven’t sketched anything like this since way back when I first started my journey in digital art.

I’ve got to get home to tuck the little one into bed. Hopefully I find more inspiration tonight to create something wonderful!

Thanks for stopping by to view my art!🦊

Wow I love the effect you gave to this digital work! It's as if you made it with chalk is very creative :)

Thanks @gvand! That’s exactly the look I was going for!

i really like this, foxi <3 there's something kind of feeling like seeing the world with hidden eyes when drawings are done inverted from the scratch, if you know what i mean ? :O

very cool and very artistic <3

Yeah! I totally get what you mean! I’ve also been trying to capture the look of faces being pushed through sheer fabrics or plastics. It looks really cool in photographs but I’m not fully confident about recreating the look with pencils.

Dear Artzonian, thanks for using the #ArtzOne hashtag. Your work is valuable to the @ArtzOne community. Quote of the week: Art, freedom and creativity will change society faster than politics. -Victor Pinchuk

I really like how you make gif because it looks like a mini video and it's great that I don't have to click somewhere else to watch XD.

And there's something quite emotively sad when I look at your art sometime, I'm not sure why but it makes me feel and that's always good :).

Thanks for the feedback on the gifs! I’m happy to hear that you like them because I think they’re fun to have in a post. I used to upload YouTube videos of the full timelapse recording but I noticed that they didn’t really get any views.

I’m so flattered and pleased to hear that my work makes you feel that way. I admit that I don’t always sketch happy looking portraits because I like the idea that my characters are going through their own personal struggles. The viewers will get the opportunity to interpret those emotions. :)

I love your signature colour! And it's funny how inspiration can just sneak up on us when we least expect it, so I hope it found you :)

I love the gif and hope you enjoyed your @caffetto time. I'm always doing that too: rewarding my artwork with something more casual and fun, it's a good system I think.

I definitely love creating more when I give myself free time. It’s healthier! So far...I’m still feeling pretty uninspired but I’ll work hard to break this creative block!
