'The Way We See Things'

It is quite a challenge to tell if graffiti is a valuable art form of simply a devastation of property. Everything is in the eye of the beholder, as they say, and I tend to agree. To some, it may be art to others a display of vandalism. Therefore, I treated this graffiti with my own approach and tried to push it toward an acceptable level of aesthetics. However, it is not the train painting itself, more like a whole new dimension added by the visual treatment which I imposed.

The washed out low-contrast look made colours more acceptable to the eye, pushing this into the domain of the eighties. This treatment allowed the gentle pink take over and create an added value. In conjunction with the sun rays beaming from the top, all the way to the dark bottom, I have a good feeling that task was successfully achieved. So, whether it was to be considered to be art or not, the image itself does carry the value. Hope Gennaro agrees with me. :)

It is also about the mood. But it is so with many things in life. Our perception and judgement are vastly connected with the moment we've created in our minds when looking at something. The most beautiful and inspiring thing might look sad and boring if our mood is such and vice versa. If we are happy and in love, there cannot be a single thing around us which will make us feel dull. It is the way of acceptance and love. Who walks that path, becomes a true master of life.

Enjoy! :)

I follow your blog well and know how thoughts carry your photos. As I said before that I think that graffiti is a manifestation of the emotions and maximalism of adolescents. Yes, we were all at this age and understand that it is vitally necessary for young people to sublimate energy. Well, if they are engaged in street art such as graffiti. But it's bad if young people start to engage in criminal activities. If I had been instructed to choose an alternative, I would have allowed young people to create graffiti. All because in my city there are a lot of gray and old buildings that depress people's mood.

Modern art sometimes amazes me. In the worst sense. Because modern art sometimes looks like shit. Forgive me Velimir for my French. But I saw exhibitions of modern art and it did not carry any meaning in itself. I saw pictures that looked like a red smear on a white sheet. But they tried to convince me that this is art. But if you take the example of art, then your work is art. I'm used to seeing aesthetics, sense and style in art. You give your followers all this. But modern art does not. If I'm wrong, then I'm ready for a discussion and I have something to say.

The photo looks interesting. The colors that you used "soften" this picture. This makes sense and I told about it. Thank you!

Art and social is one of the most desirable things in the history of aesthetic theory. The theme has been disputed in Classical Greece, about 500 - 300 BC.

People in those days usually thought that a good work of art is a work of art that teaches good moral values.

So art is perceived as a means to realize a better social order. Thus, beauty can not be evaluated from social use. A beautiful work and also socially beneficial. There, the art and civilization of money are two separate things. In the tradition that is done here is the art in Europe that developed into the Renaissance in the 16th century.

This consensus was dismantled into the Romantic period (18th and 19th centuries). In those days, there were a few things to do. Work things from all aspects of its usefulness. Good artwork is a beautiful work of art if it is 'unconditional' (not interested).

Aesthetic thinkers such as Earl of Shaftesbury, Immanuel Kant, Théophile Gautier and Oscar Wilde are united by this rule. From then on a typical aesthetic dilemma emerged.

This is precisely the debate I make my students have during our graffiti unit. The answers are mixed. I'm not sure if there is a right answer to the debate. I think that much of the graffiti I see is beautiful and for sure is art but was permission granted? A lot of money is spent cleaning this art away.

nice

The Way We See Things frames our world! We can see the graffiti as art for sure, someone spent time and effort to make it happen, they cared about it. Not just that, but also the practice and experience where they honed their skill. There are people who just spray paint, and there are artists.

I just posted some of my thoughts on color, light, purple, and how we actually see things, that I think you might find interesting :

I totally agree with the opinion that our perception and judgement are connected with our mood.
Same as music. when I listened sad song in bright mood, it doesn't sounds sad at all, vice versa. I haven't thought about drawing, such as graffiti is also depending on our mood. Thank your for giving us incredible arts as well as interpretation of the arts.

The arts are also helpful in providing different ways of seeing, exploring and expressing yourself and the world around you.

Reading a good book, seeing a ballet, talking to a good friend, writing a poem or just going for a walk in a nearby park can open up doors to hidden areas of your soul. You don’t need to make a grand gesture like going on a pilgrimage or retreating to the woods. You just need a sense of adventure and a good dose of humility and honesty. The time is now, don’t wait until it is too late.

Really the photo-shoot are magnificent

That's a great your original art, I appreciate this photography. actually I support your thoughts.
best of luck my friend.....
