I love GIF's! I'm so happy when I see one I like on the web. So decided to try it myself. I made a sphere and pasted a lot of little cubes of various sizes on the surface then i hid the sphere and put a "spherical VR" camera just above the sphere looking down at it. Then I found that if you move the camera from side to side, above the sphere, you get this effect. It's part of the quirky nature of VR camera lenses!

The title comes from a toy I had called silly putty. It came in an egg shaped container and when you took the inside "putty" out it was hard. But it rapidly warmed in your hands and became almost a liquid! You could shape it and stretch it and when in a ball shape, it would bounce really high.
