Wakes your tired soul

Your imaginative mind
Thinks of other options

But up you go
All routine in 15 mins
Kooko koka koka
You race out to the unchanging
Tough daily tasks
Feeling like a new soldier heading to battle

I’d testudo like a tortoise
Shield myself from the sad parts of the day
Worry about nothing, put on some smile
Knowing that no problem lasts forever
And the day will surely end
