YUMMY DUMMY: Sketchbook as a diary. Part II - Pencil drawings

in #art8 years ago (edited)

Sketchbook as a diary is a collection of drawings (often equipped with  subtitles) who directly or indirectly holds a personal emotion, whose event directly from life. They are records of moments and feelings that are cast in a poetic context.
The sources of inspiration for the drawings comes from various corners.  Photos from magazine, movie stills, personal photos, postcards, photobooks, etc... and  sometimes I draw scenes direct from nature.

While drawing I combine several images with each other. And the combination choices often happen instinctively. The are often spheres or  themes that image fragments let congregate in my sketches.

The great thing about these drawings is that I never know in advance what the drawing is going to be.
Without preconceived plan, the image creates itself in the moment and with a certain feeling.

Further, there is not much to say about it. Because if it's good, the drawings tell much more than I can describe. And too many words would affect the intent of these spontaneous studies.
So enough said... let the images speak for themself...

All drawings are 15x20cm
