New Work in Progress!

Got this idea earl this week. All the little flower heads are cats, there will be a few fish in the bowl, maybe a bird or a squirrel outside, maybe a glass being pushed off the sill. It's going to be a little more pastel in colour palette. I don't have many pieces that aren't dark or jewel tone. I love contrast.

I don't know what it is about cats that enchant people so much. They're cute, but they're little bastards. I like them, but not the way cat people like cats. It's obsessive. I wouldn't mind having one if not for the fact that I'm terribly allergic, but still. Just don't get the rabid enthusiasm. Oh well.

So I'm making this cute, weird, silly piece. Here it is in its earliest stage.
