Today is the start of Inktober, a drawing challenge where you create one ink drawing a day throughout the entire month of October. On the official 2019 Inktober prompt list the prompt word for today is ring.
I created two digital drawings on DADA on the Inktober theme, but for my main ink drawings for this challenge I've created my own prompt list that fits with a project I'm working on right now. So, my word for today is sadness.

The drawing was created using my dip pen and black drawing inks to draw the outline, then a brush to add the inks and water.

I'll let you into a secret, I practice my ink strokes a lot before I create the drawings.

Nice one. It has a very simple minimalist look about it. I like it. It looks like a dip pen would be fun to use. I dont think I've ever tried writing or drawing with one

One you get the hand of them they are pretty simple to use, I have a few different ones but the main one I draw with belonged to my great aunt, and is pretty old.
