Although the name includes seven palm trees, the reality is that only six can be seen for one important reason: the legend of the residents of Cachiche points out that if head number seven is grown, it could cause a flood or disaster that affects the entire city from Ica.

This is due to the alleged curse of one of the town's witches before she died. Even about 10 years ago, the residents let the seventh head grow and as a result they suffered a flood caused by the child's phenomenon. That only caused the fear for the legend to grow, although only the elders are the ones who have the most respect.
