The deep sea holds treasures but also covers things and keeps them secret... like hidden treasures. And roses are connected to secrecy, as many secret societies and groups used the term sub rosa dictum, everything said under the rose remains secret....
So true!!! This artwork was just for fun, to create sth beautiful and keep my knife sharp:) I didn't give any thought about symbolism or a hidden meaning, but now that i see it through your eyes i see much more. Thank you very much @nyarlathotep
