FISSURE (oil on canvas 55 x 73 cm)
This painting was created under the impressions I collected by watching one of my favorite tree sort - planetree.
There are also some of my favorite elements, owl, fog and autumn leaves. Colder colors are dominated and announce winter. Owl in the crack predicts winter's sleepiness and tingling.
Ova slika je nastala pod utiscima koje sam sakupljao posmatrajući jednu od mojih omiljenih vrsta drveća - platan.
Tu su i ostali moji omiljeni elementi, sova, magla i jesenje lišće. Dominiraju hladnije boje koje najavljuju zimu a sova u pukotini zimsku uspavanost i ušuškanost.

This painting is very winter at its heart... the snug fit of the owl inside the hole really reminds me of how safe and sound I feel when I reach home in the winter weather.... i'd be like upset and cold then i got home and i just nestnestnest~
