---- Starting Photoshop Journey - Pen Tool - Art for Unity Videogames ----

As some of you may know i have started designing my first videogame with Unity, after some quick testing of the Unity program i swiftly set up a game with downloadable game packs which provide you with pre rendered art to "cut and paste" into your game.... this is all well and good for testing but of you want to make your own video games you have to... well make your own video games.
Truth be told im a bit of an artsy person, i have dabbled in the arts at various points in my life from drawing and sculpting in a somewhat professional setting. What i am lacking is in knowledge of how to create the same kinds of designs in a digital setting... so its down to doing some self learning and getting the skills to achieve the goals desired. Fortunately, we live in a world where information is readily available and with some trial and error we can get schooled up for free ;)
I did have some Photoshop knowledge from the vinyl cutting i do, but that was only simple actions such as outlining and cutting out, plus a bit of text and font work. for the task at hand i would need to up my game considerably. In particular i wanted to learn to use the "Pen" tool as i have never understood how to use it... this was the best video i found for that.
At the end of the video there is a suggestion to a game which helps train in using the pen tool, PEN TOOL GAME. While it was a bit of fun there was some issues with it, maybe its just my computer, but i found i had to tap the alt key a few times before being able to drag new anchor points as i made them, keep it in mind if you have a play with it.... it really frustrated me till i figured it out.
With this new knowledge and skill under the belt i should get through my character/asset creation quite a bit faster for my first video game, which is good cause it has been taking quite a bit to get the first stage art completed, lolz. From here i see an acceleration in the art process, then i can get to the level making part in Unity.
Thats amazing! I find it very difficult to draw or design perfect things, but I am spending my time learning Adobe Premiere and how to make videos :)

i find there is a learning curb with the programs, but once i get up to speed the creative juices begin to flow and i get lost in hours of creations and art :)
You should post some of what you create on Adobe Premiere !!! I love seeing what people design in these programs

Yes it will be great to see your work :D This is what I have done with Adobe Premiere. I thought about a funny cats series. Made two episodes and will make more this week hopefully :D

hey @hanen , so many kitties !!! lolz. sometimes its hard to get started on a program but after playing around with it for a while things come together and BAM!!! you have a new creation :) Thats what i like about it :)
