Designs I made for a future Country music star
A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to make up some designs for an up-and-coming Country music artist in the Tampa Bay Area. He has not been signed to a record deal yet, but has definitely been getting quite a bit of traction lately on his music. Some of his videos have already been viewed over 100,000 times.
A previous designer had made designs for him that were highlighted by the use of filigree. The artist was not as fond of that, since the title of one of his songs is "roughnecks fall in love".
In concepting on that idea, I came up with the plan to make designs look more rugged; "roughneck country", if you will. After concepting for a couple of hours, here were the designs I came up with.
The artist and his marketing firm were big fans of the designs and I'm proud to say they will be using these designs on upcoming apparel and when out on tour. It's an amazing feeling to be appreciated for your work and vision with art.
