My New Logo and Shirt Design for @Wafrica
Today I was able to finish creating a freshly cooked logo for @wafrica.

The formal logo was observed as not fitting on print and this is a big issue as branded shirt is one of the best way we sell out our brand.
So based on this setback I decided to make the logo into something with less elements in it; like removing the giraffes, elephants and other silhouette elements in the previous design.
Also I thought of rearranging the structure of the logo so that it can be easy to centralize it against future designs and at the same time fit as a square image; both qualities were lacking in the previous design.
The logo fitting in a square image makes it easier to use it as avatar and display image.
In addition I decided to customize the typography a bit so that is can add glamour to the overall design.
Lastly, colors! Colors!! Colors!!!
Obvi, steemit blue brought out the sparkling magic.
I used black also to indicate the African color.
And that's how this design was born!!!
