There is tradition of applying henna color not only in hair but also on hands in the 3 countries. Nepal is a cultural diversified country rich in variety of rituals, tradition etc. Among them Mehendi, a typical tradition of applying a color henna on hands, wrists, legs etc. During various occasion like wedding, celebration, festivals....and many more. One interesting fact about the Mehendi rituals is that in Asian countries. Whenever the Mehendi is applied to a bride, the relationship or love bond is characterize by the darkness of Mehendi color. For instance, the darker the mehendi appears to be as a result the deepper the love tend to be by her husband. However, today's generation are aware of these paradoxical beliefs.

It was a great day today and I really feel bless to have an opportunity to add some color on my little sisters hands. Actually there will be an event at her school tomorrow so just pre-preparing her for the event. The interesting thing about Mehendi are those designs I mean we can draw any thing, combine anything still it will look absolutely fantastic using curves, leafs, circles, lines, squares motifs. Not only these things but also the moment, decorative a persons hand for her special occasion is one of the precious thing in life. Nowadays men or grooms do put Mehendi as a fashion mainly in movies its been a new thing. Basically Mehendi is made up of a plant called HENNA plant and then after it is grown big enough, the leaves of henna plant is collected as similar to cutting tea leaves for making tea powder. Afterwards the Henna leaves are sun dried for about one week depending upon weather and temperature then later on they are powdered by either grinding or biting. Traditionally prepared Henna are much better because nowadays the available henna are full of chemical that tends to irritate your skin and can even damage permanently as there was recent incident i have watched on google that there was an allergic reaction to a brides hands and they were all turned out to a disaster all swelled out to the worst so i prefer traditional one though they are time consuming to process.
