JWildfire: experiments with plug-ins in the basic fractal "Turbulence" part 1
Hello!
Today I will continue experiments with the base fractal "Turbulence". In the last lesson, I showed you the results of the displacement of the triangles from which the fractal is made. Today I will make changes to the plugins.
In the first triangle, one plug-in is elliptic. Its value in the base fractal is 1.6342365. When this value is reduced, the picture becomes larger, as if we are approaching the center of the funnel:
Accordingly, the increase in value distances us from the pattern:
A good option for replacing this plug-in was epispiral with a value of 1:
In the second triangle are two plug-ins. The first is poincare3D with a value of 1.441231.
Reducing its value detaches the pattern from the center, leaving there a void, with a strong decrease in general all the beauty of the pattern disappears:
Increasing the value gives a good result. In the center a bright star is formed:
This plug-in has an add-on. options. As I found out, only the first additive has a strong effect on the drawing. parameter, and the rest work when the first add. the parameter is not 0:
A very interesting result was obtained when replacing this plugin with octagon = 2. And when you change the add. parameters of this plugin you can get a few more beautiful variations:
Again I load the parameters of the base fractal and move to the second plugin in the second triangle. This is bubbleT3D with a rather large value = 3.5440575.
Reducing this value makes the petals of the pattern more elongated, and a further increase flatten them and the picture ceases to look like a flower, but rather a spiral of circles:
From the add. Parameters the most significant effect was symmetry_z, which also extended the petals. But nothing significantly new with the help of add. parameters I could not get:
Not bad, in my opinion, the result turned out when replacing this plugin with cardioid = 2 with the value of add. Parameter too = 2. I recommend to experiment with size. parameter of this plugin, for every change of 1 the picture changes greatly:
For today, my experiments are over. Next time I will show the results of the changes made to the plugins of the remaining two triangles.
See you soon!
