"Phantasm" (12x16 oil on panel) painting process & animation

Greetings Steemians & Artists,

The following painting was created on a reused panel, as sometimes happens. An occasional scraped painting is not time wasted. It's more like warming up before a workout; what needs to happen before the real work begins. After the scrape, I was then able to sit in silence and conceive of an idea to be enthusiastic about.
