ยฟQuรฉ serรญa del artista si no se reinventara? es una interrogante justa, sobre todo cuando hablamos de los artistas que reciรฉn comienzan su carrera, no hay peor error que enfrascarse en una sola tรฉcnica, en un solo estilo, vamos al ejemplo del maestro Picasso, el cual no solo aprendiรณ, sino que perfeccionรณ gran cantidad de tรฉcnicas y estilos que no eran suyos, y actualmente, es recordado como uno de los mas grandes pintores de la historia. Es necesario el aprendizaje constante, la investigaciรณn, la prรกctica y la experimentaciรณn para lograr ser un artista completo, por eso, a quienes estรฉn comenzando, y a quienes tal vez ya tengan un tiempo dedicรกndose al arte, les recomiendo, no se acorralen en una sola tรฉcnica ni en un solo estilo, la experimentaciรณn es la clave del progreso, es totalmente necesario reinventarse...
Es muy comรบn en las escuelas de arte, sobre todo en Venezuela donde gran parte de las Universidades estรกn controladas por el gobierno nacional, escuchar a los profesores hablar solo del sentimiento y la expresiรณn en el arte, corrigiendo poco y elogiando mucho, como una forma de "darle oportunidad" a quien no sabe dibujar en lugar de dedicarse a enseรฑarlos, es mi crรญtica a algunos profesores a quienes he tenido la oportunidad de conocer en esta nueva etapa universitaria, sin duda la muestra mas grande del declive cultural de nuestras naciones, pues yo considero que un alumno es un lienzo en blanco, y por lรณgica, es el profesor el que trabaja el lienzo segรบn su propia visiรณn. Si nos ponemos a pensar, esta es la principal causa de que el arte, al menos en Venezuela sea poco valorado y poco monetizado, pues nos hemos visto influenciados por un Culto a la Pereza, que les ha hecho creer a muchos profesores de manera totalmente ERRรNEA que el aspecto tรฉcnico del arte esta sobrevalorado, y que enseรฑar las bases teรณricas del arte es una cosa del pasado, y sinceramente, eso es algo que debemos cambiar si queremos sacar a nuestras naciones del declive cultural, social y artรญstico en el que estamos actualmente, donde solo se apoya al artista si este viste del color del partido polรญtico que gobierna, en especial en Venezuela, donde se trata de influenciar en las escuelas de arte de las universidades del gobierno para que estos tengan un pensamiento polรญtico afรญn a sus gobernantes, donde se les pretende enseรฑar que el que piense diferente es el enemigo, enseรฑando poco y adoctrinando mucho. Seรฑoras y seรฑores, los gobiernos tiemblan cuando los artistas se ponen valientes...

It is very common in art schools, especially in Venezuela where a large part of the Universities are controlled by the national government, listening to teachers speak only of feeling and expression in art, correcting little and praising a lot, as a way to "give opportunity" to those who do not know how to draw instead of teaching them, it is my criticism of some professors whom I have had the opportunity to meet in this new university stage, without a doubt the biggest sample of the cultural decline of our nations, because I consider that a student is a blank canvas, and by logic, it is the teacher who works the canvas according to his own vision. If we start thinking, this is the main cause that art, at least in Venezuela is poorly valued and little monetized, because we have been influenced by a Laziness Cult, which has made many teachers believe in a totally WRONG that the technical aspect of art is overrated, and that teaching the theoretical basis of art is a thing of the past, and honestly, that is something we must change if we want to get our nations out of the cultural, social and artistic decline in which we are Currently, where the artist is only supported if he dresses in the color of the political party that governs, especially in Venezuela, where it is about influencing the art schools of government universities so that they have a political thought related to their rulers , where they are intended to teach that the one who thinks differently is the enemy, teaching little and indoctrinating a lot. Esta es la primera vez que uso Tizas Pastel para pintar, y como cada vez que uso nuevo material, estoy tan emocionado como lo estรก un niรฑo cuando le regalan un juguete nuevo, pintar con tizas es bastante sencillo cuando se conoce algo de tรฉcnica con lรกpices de colores, para pintar con este material se debe usar una superficie rugosa o que absorba de manera รณptima el polvo de las tizas, puede ser maderas, cartulinas de hilo, opalinas, lienzos de tela, cartรณn, entre otros. Es bastante sencillo mezclar los colores sin embargo no se debe hacer directamente en la pintura que estamos realizando, por lo general para oscurecer algรบn color, considero que es una buena opciรณn tener una superficie aparte, pintar con algo de color negro u otro color que se desee mezclar, y luego pasar la tiza un par de veces sobre esta mancha tal y como si quisiรฉramos pintar sobre ella, para darnos cuenta luego de que la punta de la tiza quedarรก un poco manchada con el color oscuro, entonces, al momento de pintar, el color original se verรก gradualmente oscurecido, y por lรณgica, el mismo proceso se puede aplicar si queremos aclarar las tonalidades de un color. Esta es solo una de las facilidades de usar esta tรฉcnica.

It is quite simple to mix the colors however it should not be done directly in the paint we are doing, usually to darken some color, I consider it a good option to have a separate surface, paint with some black color or another color that is You want to mix, and then pass the chalk a couple of times over this stain as if we wanted to paint on it, to realize after the tip of the chalk will be a little stained with the dark color, then, when painting , the original color will be gradually darkened, and by logic, the same process can be applied if we want to clarify the shades of a color. This is just one of the facilities to use this technique.

Para comenzar esta obra no hice un boceto inicial, esto fue totalmente improvisado, tenรญa la intenciรณn de probar el material para comenzar a aclimatarme y tratar de descubrir algunas tรฉcnicas que me facilitaran el trabajo, sin embargo conforme la obra iba avanzando y tomando forma, llegรณ de nuevo ese frenesรญ, el sentirme atrapado por la pintura, y dejรฉ que las ideas improvisadas fluyeran libremente por el lienzo, tal y como un depredador corre libre en su hรกbitat natural, los primeros trazos para marcar la lรญnea del horizonte fueron hechas con tiza de color gris, no hay un solo rastro de lรกpiz en esta pintura.
To start this work I did not make an initial sketch, this was totally improvised, I had the intention of testing the material to start acclimatizing myself and trying to discover some techniques that would facilitate my work, however as the work was progressing and taking shape, it came again that frenzy, feeling trapped by the paint, and I let the makeshift ideas flow freely through the canvas, just as a predator runs free in its natural habitat, the first strokes to mark the horizon line were made with chalk of Gray color, there is not a single trace of pencil in this painting.
El cielo es el elemento mas grande de la pintura, y contiene las espirales lo cual es lo mas llamativo visualmente, todo con un matiz de azules que denotan un cielo nocturno, un estilo muy influenciado por las noches estrelladas de Van Gogh y Munch.
The sky is the biggest element of the painting, and it contains the spirals which is the most visually striking, all with a shade of blues that denote a night sky, a style very influenced by the starry nights of Van Gogh and Munch.
Por รบltimo, detallรฉ los elementos de la ciudad cercanos a la lรญnea del horizonte con ciertos brillos blancos y amarillos, ademรกs de la playa, con unos tonos sepias y dos pequeรฑos elementos que dan la impresiรณn de ser un par de personas caminando bajo el cielo nocturno, arropados por un majestuoso cielo, al lado de un mar que funge de espejo a una de las espirales que adornan el firmamento.
Finally, I detailed the elements of the city near the horizon line with certain white and yellow glows, in addition to the beach, with some sepia tones and two small elements that give the impression of being a couple of people walking under the night sky , clothed by a majestic sky, next to a sea that acts as a mirror to one of the spirals that adorn the sky.
Un pequeรฑo detalle que no habรญa puesto a mis pinturas, al menos no a las que elijo para publicar en Steemit, es el marco de madera, lo que le da una nueva dimensiรณn en cuanto al tamaรฑo, dejando la pintura con unas medidas de 25 cm x 32 cm, un elemento que completa el atractivo comercial de la obra, y en consecuencia, esta obra estarรก a la venta a partir del momento de ser publicada.
A small detail that I had not put to my paintings, at least not those that I choose to publish in Steemit, is the wooden frame, which gives it a new dimension in terms of size, leaving the painting with measures of 25 cm x 32 cm, an element that completes the commercial appeal of the work, and consequently, this work will be for sale from the moment it is published.
