Painted on location along the Rio Grande south of Taos, New Mexico.
On a beautiful, magical autumn day, I was set up on a ridge overlooking the Rio Grande. Espanola, New Mexico was just down the road. Across the river, some ducks were sitting under the trees. To include them? Why not just one of them!?
