Trippy Head from Vege Book

I finally finished this coloring from Nick Dolan's "Vege Book", available on Amazon for $10.99

Most of Nick's art is very intricate. A lot of it has a very trippy, psychedelic sort of vibe to it as well. I have to be in a certain mood to color his works & it's always a pleasure.

For this head I used gel pens (sakura & smoov) & markers (sharpies & letraset.) This piece has a lot going on and took me close to three hours on 4 or 5 sit downs.

As for color schematic, I was going for an unusual look & I feel I definitely attained that. I like how the metallic gel pens look especially as I was initially hesitant to use them, but they give a nice change from the other bright & neon colors.
