National gallery of art - The Master

Vladimir Dimitrov – Master is a Bulgarian artist, one of the great names in Bulgarian painting. Works in the first half of the 20th century. He appears in the portrait and landscape genre and in domestic composition. His portraits and compositions have expressive colors, idealistic drawing and strong symbolic radiance. The master also contributed as a military artist - he created hundreds of sketches of the Bulgarian troops, conveying the emotions in the trenches and life of war. He is also the first official Bulgarian military correspondent.
