A "Christmas theme" toony style color sketch for ForrestTheBoar on Twitter. I know I'm late on posting this but this is actually a Patreon reward sketch for December, and I haven't gotten around to finishing the others and posting up the reward sketches for that month yet. But I do have this sketch ready so I'll go ahead and show you the tutorial for it. :)

My Layer Layout

• Extra Sketch layer
• Fine Sketch layer
• Color Folder
  • Secondary Color layer (masked to base color)
  • Base/Primary Color
• Rough Sketch layer
• Canvas Background layer (neutral color like grey)

• Canvas Prep/Rough Sketch

Like always, I started off with my neutral grey color canvas background then sketch in my rough shapes and poses the rough sketch layer.

• Fine Sketch

After the sketch, I sketch in a finer sketch over the roughs in the fine sketch layer.

• Base/Primary Color

I draw in the character's base/primary color in the base color layer. I can color in the sack too.

• Detail Colors

Then I add in the other detail colors in the other color layer.

• Misc. Details/Final Check/Final Result

I then whiten the background (just fill the canvas background with white) and blacken the sketch lines (temperary turn on alpha lock first before filling the layer so the fill will only color the sketch). Then I add a little blush in the extra sketch layer for cuteness and then the drawing is complete!
