Circle mountain and macro staking
I used a macro stack picture to make this piece, what is a macro stack picture you ask?
a macro stack picture is a picture composed of multiple shots of the same subject, but why is that needed? Well the depth of field of macro images is very shallow
1 of the pictures in this macro stack
Notice how only a small area of the picture is in focus, well that's just how macro lenses are and the only way around that is to take several pictures and use post-production to put it together.
without moving the camera, I turned the lens changing the focal point and slowly moved up. Then In photoshop with the click of a few buttons, I had my stack image and then turned it into Circle mountain
