This particular piece began with a photograph of the skye and went through a varity of steps until it became what you see here as the final result.
In the study of a subject...be it flowers or something else....the subject should become quite familiar. As one learns about a subject....it can become a study to express the subject in terms of it's complexity and then it's simplicity. Going from complex to simple yet drawing upon the same object for expression. The principles of art are still recognised.
Notice above that the work is presented one way and then another.....deciding how to present one's art is up to the artist........learn to trust your artistic eye.
This digital artwork used a variety of apps until the desired effects were obtained.

I was wondering what come first in your mind the picture of these tulips and them you probably found the similarity with those clouds and sky or another way round. It is really surprising to see when you show the process of your work, that initially it was a photo of sky. Nevertheless I love the tulips, stamens and probably a breeze of wind that blow the pollen away a second ago. Beautiful art!
