Daily drawings: travelling birds

while exploring the beach I stumbled upon these gentle bird creatures. A group of nomads, they have been living through the forest for years, traveling between the beach and the darkness. Durring the warm summer months they set up camp at the beach where they earn a living entertaining the other creatures with their songs and mysterious stories. They speak of the darkest corners of the forest and the monsters that live there. They speak of the heroic lives of the creatures that will never see the beach. Everyone loves these messengers. A few who claim to have visited the darkness, send messages with the birds, hopping that one day they will reach their loved ones.
