Good morning to all dear friends of Steemit.
Today I present a large watercolor painting, with my dreamlike and very hot vision of the island of Ponza, the largest of the archipelago of the Pontine islands.
A painting with dimensions of cm.80x60 in which I tried to represent sunlight in many shades of warm colors. Starting from the classic cobalt blue color, I wanted to paint the chromatic scale of warm colors with ocher yellow, orange, carmine red and violet.
The atmosphere that I tried to create is that of a hot summer afternoon and the quiet, almost surreal of the port.
From a counterpoint the cold color of the sea water in the bay, to balance the bright reds.

Buongiorno a tutti cari amici di Steemit.
Oggi presento un acquarello di grandi dimesioni, con una mia visione onirica e molto calda dell'isola di Ponza, la più grande dell'arcipelago delle isole ponziane.
Un dipinto dalle dimensioni di cm.80x60 nel quale ho cercato di rappresentare la luce del sole in molte sfumature di colori caldi. Partendo dal classico colore blu cobalto, ho voluto dipingere la scala cromatica dei colori caldi con il giallo ocra, l'arancione, il rosso carminio e il violetto.
L'atmosfera che ho cercato di creare è quella di un caldissimo pomeriggio estivo e della quiete, quasi surreale del porto.
Da contrappunto il colore freddo dell'acqua del mare nella baia, per bilanciare i rossi accesi.
Di seguito ho inserito un dettaglio della scala cromatica nel lavoro pittorico.
