Las sirenas son lo que nos ha llamado la atención esta vez.
The sirens are what caught our attention this time.
Las sirenas están presentes en diversas mitologías, unas de las más antiguas, las griegas y romanas.
También tenemos esta mitología en sudamerica, mitología Mapuche,(pueblo originario sudamericano que habita Chile y el Argentina).
Mermaids are present in several mythologies, some of the oldest, Greek and Roman.
We also have this mythology in South America, Mapuche mythology, (original South American people living in Chile and Argentina).
Mito de la sirena Mapuche (Los Sumpall):
Los Sumpall serían seres cambiantes, que generalmente presentarían una apariencia mitad humana y mitad pez; Aunque a veces también podrían tomar una forma completamente humana. Su parte humana sería muy hermosa y tendrían un cabello largo y brillante. Sumpall existe femenino y masculino.
Myth of the Mapuche Mermaid (The Sumpall):
The Sumpall would be changing beings, who would generally present a half human and half fish appearance; Although sometimes they could also take a completely human form. The human part would be very beautiful and would have a long and shiny hair. Sumpall exists feminine and masculine.
