Rock N Reef, A Hotel In Uluwatu With Gorgeous View But Will Tiring You Out To Reach There

Hello my dear friends

In this post, i will share about a fun yet very tiring experience. I think that this is the most tired i am since the last time i went to the mountain during my university days. Perhaps, this one is even more tiring since its been such a long time since i do physical activity and my body can feel the burden and shock this experience gave me. So, here i will tell the story from the beginning till the end. A lovely friend of mine, Gita, came to Bali. She planned to go to Uluwatu, an area in Bali, with her friends from Jakarta. Sadly, her friends have to cancel their plan because they cant take the time off from their work. She didnt know what to do. The hotel room was already booked for two rooms and its a non refundable order. My friend Gita then asked me to go with her to Uluwatu. I have never been to Uluwatu before since i am usually alone in Bali and go in a one hour motorbike trip by myself is never a holiday plan for me. Of course, i said yes to the opportunity. Since they booked two room and there is only two of us, my friend told me to just asked a friend that i have here to stay in another room because the both of us can stay in a room together.

This is the hotel

The name of the hotel is Rock N Reef. When i checked the hotel online, the place is so beautiful. I have never imagine this beautiful place is so hard to reach. The map is absolutely in mess. Me and Gita get lost a lot of time. Now, now, i pride myself as someone that able to see the map correctly. The thing is, its so hard to reach this place to the point that we even stranded in a cows’ farm. We were so confused and its so funny. We were so tired but we can only laugh everythings off to boost our energy and to make it fun. Any weird experience when you do it with your friend, it will always be fun. Then, we give up and started asking around. May i say, this hotel is not our traditional hotel. The road to the parking spot is empty, full of trees, in shorter word its creepy. The most important thing are, the parking lot located so far from the hotel. We need to walk for around 10 minutes to reach the stairs where the hotel located. The road to reach the hotel located is also small, almost no lights, thats why we cant take our motorbike there because we can only access them by walking. Walking 10 minutes is totally fine by me. What makes me loose my mind is we need to go down the hill with a big stairs and its so tiring. All of my friends complained the same thing so i know its not just me being fussy about some little things.

They have place for us to hang out things but its so small in my opinion and we ended up still have to fold our towel if we want to hang them here. They give us two chairs in front of each room but since its four if us, we’ve decided to just took the two chair of the other room so we can chat together in one place.

As we can see, the inside is pretty simple yet so pretty. The design is dominated with the white color. The floor is from wood. There is also few wall decoration in this room. What we found awkward about this room is that they have an open bathroom. Well, i have stayed in a place that have an open bathroom a lot of times before but they always have a separate space for the toilet. But nope, not in this place. It will be very awkward if we have to do the business number two when our friend or partner still inside the room.
