The Skyline Of Yesterday
Things have changed drastically
behind St. Pauls since I took this photo years ago. Towers have risen to the skies, dramatically changing the London city skyline.
Every time I look at old photos I took in London, I'm astonished by how much has changed in such a short period of time. It's one of the reasons why street photography is important. It is, amongst other things, a documentary of how things used to be.
I took this photo with the vintage Smena 8M and AgfaPhoto Vista 200 Plus film. I was practicing negative space and rule of thirds techniques. The purple-lilac colour across the middle is from a light leak through the camera door.
Peace and Love ✌🏿
