مرحباً اصدقائي، أنا مثل غالبيتكم عربي الجنسية،، مر قرابة العام ونصف منذ انضمامي لستيميت، وفي البداية لم أكن أعرف أحداً ،لم يعلمني أحد و لم ألقى أية إرشادات على كيفية عمل هذا الموقع. التجربة والفشل وألإستمرار كانوا اساتذتي الوحيدين، ومع مرور الوقت أردفت خبيراً نوعاً ما. هذا المقال يهم  المستخدمين العرب على ستيميت خاصةً الجدد منهم، الهدف منه هو توضيح بعض المفاهيم اللازمة ومساعدتكم على النجاح و تقديم صورة إيجابية . لاسف، العرب على ستيميت علاوةً على أنهم أقلية، ليسوا جديين بالمرة.. فقد سببوا العديد من المشاكل في السابق. الأسباب عديدة، ولربما ابرزها غياب مرشد حقيقي..

١.حذار وألف حذار من النقل والانتحال 

هذه أهم قاعدة بدون منازع،، لماذا نكتب مقالات على ستيميت أصلاً ؟ لجني المال طبعا ،،وهذا شيء طبيعي ومقبول لكن الخطير هو محاولة خرق حقوق المؤلف وسرق محتويات مواقع أخرًى. في العديد من البلدان العربية لا نعير لهذه الأشياء أهمية (إلا إذا كنت مؤلف طبعاً ) لكن الإنتحال جنحة خطيرة يعاقب عليها القانون في أمريكا، في ستيميت لربما لن يقومو بايقافك لكن المستخدمين يعاقبونك بطريقتهم الخاصة ولن تحصل على أية مساندة كانت، هناك أيضاً روبوت يستطيع كشف المحتوى المسروق حرفياً إضافة للعديد من الوسائل المستخدمة من قبل العديد من المجموعات التي تكافئ  المستخدمين على ستيميت.

العديد من المستخدمين يحاولون التذاكي ويسرقون محتويات بطرق عديدة ابرزها :

ترجمة المقالات الأجنبية

نقل عدة جمل مختلفة من عدة مصادر مختلفة.

تغيير بضع الكلمات ليظهر المقال فريداً.

كل هذه المحاولات هي محاولات رخيصة ودنيئة، تقلل من مصداقية الكاتب وقابلة للكشف. من الضروري معرفة أن على ستيميت الأصل يغلب الجودة، مقال سيئ وفريد أفضل من مقال منتحل ولو كان قمة في الجودة، لذلك العديد من المستخدمين يحققون أرباحاً بمقالات سخيفة نوعاً ما، فقط لأنها أصلية وليست مقلدة. إكتب مقالات بلغتك الخاصة وكن فخوراً بذلك، مع الوقت ستتحسن الجودة طبيعياً، ثق بقدراتك.

٢.دائماً أذكر مصادر

لسنا كلنا علماء أو خبراء، نحتاج دائماً لمصادر لمعلوماتنا، لذلك من الضروري أن تذكر مصادرك في أخر المقال، الهدف منه أن تمدح الكاتب وتعطيه حقه. إذا لم تكن تملك مصدراً معينا فهذا لا بأس به طالما أن مقالك أصلي مائة في المائة. إذا استخدمت صوراً فاحرص أن تكون مفتوحة المصدر، يمكنك أن تجد هذه الصور باستعمال هاته الخاصية من جوجل: 

 

 

أيضاً تذكر أنه عندما تستعل الصور ،أذكر مصدرها دائماً وأبداً كما فعلت أنا في هذا المقال. هاتين النصيحتين تمنحانك مصداقية في ستيميت وتجلب لك العديد من الزور فإحرص دائماً على تطبيقها: الأصلية وذكر المصادر.

٣.أساليب فاشلة للحصول على الأصوات

أرى العديد من المستخدمين الذين يقومون بترك تعاليق فارغة دون محتوى فقط لنيل أصوات مرتفعة، في الحقيقة المستخدمين الكبار الذين يمتلكون العديد من ستيم باور لا يعيرون أهمية لهذه التدخلات، بالعكس فقد يضطروا لترك أصوات سلبية وتدميرهم. حاول عندما تترك تعليق أن يكون مفيد وغني ولاتخف من النقد البناء فالعديد يريدون تحسين جودة عملهم. من المضحكات المبكيات أن بعض المستخدمين يتركون تعاليق بعد ثواني من تنزيل المقال وفي الحقيقة نحتاج لبضع الدقائق لقراءته، هذا يدل أن المستخدم لم يقرأ المقال أصلاً ، هذا استخفاف بعمل الكاتب ناتج عن طمع لا غير. دائماً تفادى هذه التعاليق الفاشلة وحاول أن تضع تعليقاً جميلاً لتشعر الكاتب بأن مجهوده مشكور. 

٤.ستيميت موقع تواصل قبل أن يكون موقع لربح المال

هذا يعني أنك يجب أن تتواصل مع المستخدمين وتكون علاقات إذا أردت النجاح، فالهدف من هذا الواقع أصلاً جعله مصدراً لتبادل المعلومات والثقافات،تماماً مثل فيسبوك أو تويتر. شئت أم أبيت تحتاج لموافقة الأخرين لتنال أصواتاً محترمة. فلا تنحصر على نفسك وتفعل ما الأخرين وحاول أن تكسب أصدقاء، شجع غيرك لتنال الدعم، فأغلبية المستخدمين الكبار لديهم شبكة كبيرة من الأصدقاء على ستيميت.

Hello my friends, I'm an Arab like most of you. I've been on the Steemit platform for almost a year and a half. In the beginning, I didn't know anyone and I was never taught or given any kind of advices/tips on how to properly use this website. Thankfully, failure is a great teacher. As time passes, I became a sort of 'expert'. This post is mostly for Arab users especially the new one to explain some of the necessary concepts of the Steemit community and to help you succeed and to make a good impression on the platform. Sadly, there isn't a lot of Arabs on Steemit and they are not serious about it. They've cause a lot of trouble in the past, mostly, because there isn't a proper instructor to guide them through their journey on this platform.

1-Beware of plagiarism and copying other people's work...

This is the most important base of this community. Why are you even blogging on Steemit? Obviously, to make money and that's acceptable but breaching an author's right (copyright) and stealing content of other websites is not okay... In a lot of Arabic countries, we don't care about that (unless you are the author ) but plagiarism is a serious felony punishable by law in America and many other judicial systems around the world. In Steemit, they won't ban you for plagiarism but the community will punish you by their own means and you will never get any support. There is also a bot called @cheetah made by @steemcleaners which detects copied content. Other communities have their own tools too. A lot of Arabic users think they could 'outsmart' the community by a bunch of methods including:

• Translating articles from another langue (without permission on reference to the original material)
• Copying from a bunch of different sources.
• Using Synonyms to make the post look unique.

All these methods are dirty and cheap (showing a lack of moral principles) and reduces the author's credibility. Trust me, YOU WILL GET CAUGHT EVENTUALLY. Steemit is a place to publish original content. A bad original article is always better than a copied one. That's why a lot of users earn a whole lot of money just by writing 'simple' original articles. Write with your own langue and be proud of it. You will eventually get better. Believe in your abilities.   

2-  Always cite your sources:

We are not all experts and scientists. We always need to prove that our facts are credible. That's why you need to mention your sources at the end of your articles in order to praise the writer and to respect his right. If you don't have a source, it's okay as long as your article is 100% original. If you use pictures make sure they are free for use. You can find these pictures by using the no copyrights feature in Google search. Also, remember that if you use a picture, you will always need to mention it's source just like I did in this article. 

These two tips will improve your credibility on Steemit and it will bring you a lot of readers so make sure to follow them: Originality and Citing sources.

3- Useless methods to get upvotes: 

I've seen a lot of users writing stupid comments just to get high upvotes. 'Big users' (those with a lot of steem power) hate those kind of comments. They might even downvote you.

Make sure that your comment is beneficial and relevant to the post. Do not shy away from constructive criticism. It could help others improve the quality of their work. Some users write comments on articles after seconds of submitting them. Who are you fooling? They'll know that you didn't read the article and that this comment is the result of greed. Always avoid these dumb comments. Write a comment which makes a user feel that you are thankful for all his effort.

4- Steemit is a social network not just a place to make money 

This means that you will have to communicate with other users and to form various relationships if you want to succeed. Steemit is a place to exchange information and cultures just like Facebook or Twitter. Like it or not, you'll need other's approval if you want to earn a good amount of upvotes. Do not limit yourself. Be unique. Make friends. Earn their support. Support them. After all, we are all adults here.
