What is iPhone market share?
i am interested to see apple's market share develop over the last few years.
- i am interested in the overall share of devices
- what is the revenue and profit compared to competitors
- looking for global perspective, but segregated views of countries and regions would be appreciated also.
1)For a long time it has been 15-20% of total devices according to every piece of statistics I've seen over the years. The sales data match with this claim: https://www.statista.com/statistics/216459/global-market-share-of-apple-iphone/
2)Apple is an efficient moneymaker. They serve less customers, have less apps and users spend less time on the store (https://www.statista.com/statistics/192296/average-time-spent-per-us-users-per-appstore) but depending on where you look at, they make 50-100% more revenue than Google Play Store.

If you have $588 to spare for 1 year worth stats on practically everything, just go to https://www.statista.com/study/11643/iphone-statista-dossier and get the free dossier and many related stats you need. Some of the stats that were freely available some time ago have gone premium and I can't link them here.

I really want to have an iPhone, but it can't be conveyed yet. Hopefully in the future I can 😁
I have used an iPhone since the iPhone 4.
Started with the damn connectivity with Telekom to use them as the provider and finally end on the iPhone 6 with 4 years of usage.
As you can see in a post from me I switched over to the Huawai Mate10 pro and I promise you that Huawai will be more and more kicking the ass of apple from the top.
Since the have announced the iPhone x, I was mind-blowing about the device but also with the price about the device.
Too much money for the name in the end
