What is Appics?

Steemit has been a great success and I love how is Steemit evolving over time. The idea behind decentralized social media has been going through my head for a long time and I am so excited to see what is next.

There is one social media that is taking users by the storm, Instagram. Great platform for finding cool photo and scrolling to see what's up with people close to you. But, what if we could make it better, make it decentralized?
