The results of the 39th Anime Grand Prix

in #anime7 years ago

Like last year, the Animation issue of August 2017 publishes the results of the Anime Grand Prix, this vote of readers who rank the different productions over 12 months. This 39th edition selected the anime released between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017, which corresponds roughly to the Japanese school year.

The cover of the magazine mentions the presence of the results in the number but the illustration of the new series of Tôken Ranbu, who is entitled to a file of fifteen pages, has no relation with the Anime Grand Prix repulsed At the fortieth page, when it was still on the front page some time ago.

2015 had been a tidal wave Osomatsu-san. The Osomatsu-san Ouma part of Kobanashi was broadcast in December and therefore again makes the license eligible for this edition but it only arrives in 13th position in the general classification. Even at the level of the best male characters, Karamatsu is 13th and only representative of his family among the top 20.

The biggest winner in the general is Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans with his second season confirming the good performance of the first who ranked 4th last year. In the men's characters, Mikazuki Augus is 2nd, Orga Itsuka 5th, Yamagi Gilmerton 6th and Eugene Seven Stark 8th. In the girls, Kudelia Aina Bernstein is 2nd, Atra Mixta 5th and Lafter Frankland 6th. Titles are also in the top 10 songs: Freesia, the 3 end credits is 2nd, Rage of Dust 4th and Fighter 9th.

Other anime play with Yuri on Ice, dolphin to the general of Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans but who managed to put Victor Nikiforov at the head of the male characters. Yuri Katsuki is 7th and Yuri Plisetsky 9th in the same ranking, while the opening credits, History Maker, was named best song.

The other big license that I will call unbearable is Gintama who arrives 3rd in the general and 1st in the classification of the female characters dominated by Kagura who realizes the doubled after his crown the year before. In men, Gintoki Sakata is 3rd.

As every year, I will especially notice the absence of several anime in these tops that qualify the readership of the magazine. Your name, which was the big popular hit in Japan, is only 15th and only Mitsuha Miyamizu appears in the 12th place among the best female characters. Zen Zen Zense of Roadwimps is 19th among the songs.

By force I am almost pleasantly surprised by the 9th place of Suzu, the heroine of In a corner of this world, who is only 26th in the overall standings.

I'm more surprised by the 20th place in My Hero Academia that I thought was more popular.

A final word on the best seiyû trophy attributed to Hiroshi Kamiya, known to be the voice of Levi, Izaya Orihara or Seijūrô Akashi. On the other hand, it has no role that coincides with a well ranked male characters.

I would have thought My Hero Academia would be higher too! I guess if you think about it, there are a few anime with the same feel. Remove super powers and anything in its place it would make sense...
Iron Blooded Orphans was good! Nice change to the usual Gundam story line.

there is a lot of politics and conspiracy In the animes mecha, and I love that
