Now You See Me, Now You Don'tsteemCreated with Sketch.

I think camouflaged animals have a huge advantage in this cruel eco-system. To mimic your surroundings with your color or shape is one of the oldest tricks in the animal world.

Leaf-Tail Gecko

First is this mysterious gecko. This reptile (or should I say "leaf") remains concealed by mimicking the motion  of a dead leaf. Making it hard for him to be prey to other animals.

Side-winding Adder

I'd look out for this one if I were you. This snake blends in with desert sand or the grain surrounding them to sneak up on its prey. Make sure you're not the one he's sneaking up on...

The Chacoan Horned Frog

Beetles and grubs are targeted by this creature, luckily not humans. This frog burries itself in soil making it hard for his prey to see him.
