Duel Betta Tank
Blue and Red bettas add a nice touch to a planted, dark substrate aquarium tank.
Many people see this and first wonder, two bettas in one tank? Won't they fight? Well, it depends. Mostly on how the fish keeper sets up the tank and introduces the fish to one another.
Here's a quick explination on how I got things to workbetween the two.
Size
If you first notice, the tank is mostly wide and not very tall. This is a 20-gallon long tank. Bettas do not need a very tall talk, this gives them more horizontal room to swim in. It's size also allows for the fish to avoid one another easier.
Hiding Spots
A bare tank with two bettas will likely see problems. The planted tank allowed for many hiding spots.
Introduction
There are a few ways to do this, but I introduced both fish to the tank at the same time and had purposely purchased one betta (red) smaller than the other(blue). This allowed for the blue betta to quickly establish dominance in the new found territory.

Thanks for the post! Im following you now, I love fish! Your bete tanks is really nice!
