A few weeks ago the boys had to go to school in the dark in the morning, but today 3 weeks later the sun is up again. The darkness isn't that brutal anymore, the wind and the cold are more bareable and soft. Or is ot just us. We love the fact that we see different signs that spring is coming and that we can slowly put away the thick sweathers and coats.

SNOWDROPS we call them, those sweet lovely white flowers coming up everywhere now. Actually you never have enough snowdrops in the neighbourhood or garden, this early spring beautifull is especially beautiful when they are there in large numbers. Snowdrops become wild, but you can also help them by sharing them. The balls of Galanthus nivalis must be planted in the fall of November. The flowers appear now, at the end of the winter. Plant them three times as deep as the bulb. Snowdrops can be planted well in the shade or partial shade. You often see them in a tree-rich environment. After a few years, the pollen with leaves grow bigger and you can easily share them. If you do this every year with a few pollen, the entire garden will gradually become a full bed of snowdrops. The best time for this job is immediately after flowering. Carefully pick up the pollen, pull the balls apart and plant them again in small groups. After flowering, the leaf continues to grow for a while to produce food that is stored in the bulbs. By fertilizing the plants now, they will grow extra well. Leave the leaves until the foliage has died.

You're in Holland, right? I guess it's not called that anymore, or is it? Anyway, it's amazing that spring is showing off already where you are! Those little flowers are always nice to see when you want winter to be over! :)

Yes it's Holland or the Netherlands and here is nature earlier than normal thanks to global warming

Gentle soft snowdrop flowers are gorgeous, what a lovely way to change seasons now moving into soft colours in gardens and fields.

Bring on the spring I say and all the new animals and flowers

Spring is finally starting everywhere! .. I already saw one of @nelinoeva's posts about the first blossoms of the year ^^ .. I cant wait for the spring to fully bloom everywhere. This will be perfect timing when I can walk the botanical gardens again twice a day on my way to work, hehe ;)

Of you pass the gardens every day you can do a log of a picture of the same place every day during a period so you see it evolve

Wow, thats such a great idea! .. I would really love to do it 👍😉

You know I am the girl with the ideas! Go for it. A lot of examples from photo sequels or even videos about kids photographed in the same spot multiple times to show growth so be my guest !

Or make a contest about it to double trouble hahahahah

Sorry work he is an addict 😂😂😂
