Once in a while... (NL/EN)

ENGLISH

I don't have so much time to post today, so I'm just going to post this photo that I had taken a few weeks ago and try to write a little bit about it to practice my Dutch! Native Dutch speakers, feel free to correct my terrible mistakes! (Apologies in advance, I'm tired and trying to not use any online tools to help me, so it is going to be a bit of a slaughter....).

But I have to practice to get better... and this seems like a decent way to try and force myself to write!

NEDERLANDS

Eerder in de maand had ik dit foto gemaakt. Nogmaals, ik ben een echte slecht fotographer, maar een keer van honderd kan ik een okay foto al gedaan.

Ik had naar Den Haag voor een aafspraak gekomt, maar ik was te vroeg. Het was naast de begin van school in de ochtend, en ik heb niet mijn eerste koffie gedronken. Ik heb een koffie by de "Coffee Company" gevonden.

Als ik op de straat gaat, zag ik deze regenboog en zo heb ik deze foto gemaakt. Niet heel professioneel, maar niet zo slecht voor een smartfone, denk ik?

    Lovely rainbow, did you find the pot of gold at the bottom of it? Your Dutch is better then mine - I get the Coffee Company and Smartphone that is all though!

    The rainbow ends somewhere near or in the garden of the royal Palace... Wasn't game enough to start traipsing around there!

      It is in The Hague, I don't live quite there but in one of the surrounding areas. A bit more room and a bit more green!

          Ha, if only. I fumble through like an inept buffoon when speaking... But well enough to be understood, just with no nuance. But I never practice writing...

            Eigenlijk heb je het heel erg goed geschreven , the use of die and deze and dit is like the most challenging thing ever to explain to somebody.

            The thing is....it doesn't have to be perfect, the dutchies will already praise you for the effort... at least I will. Goed gedaan!

            Bedankt voor de taal support! Ik vind talen heel moeilijk om te leren. Mathematica, natuurkunde en muziek... Geen probleem... Maar talen, slecht...

            De en het woorden is kaos voor mij, geen regelen....

            Ik moet dapper bent maar ik voel zo stom...
