Legend of Tapa

Footprint Tapa is a legend site in Aceh, believed to be the footprint of a hermit known as Mr. Tapa.

It is said that there lived two dragons originating from the Bamboo Curtain country, the two dragons have no children so very happy to find a human baby that oscillates the ocean. This baby was stranded by the sea because the ship from his parents who were destroyed was hit by a storm. The baby is treated by both dragons to grow up and become a beautiful woman who is also known as the dragon princess.

As he grows up, the Dragon Princess feels uncomfortable because he realizes that he is not the real child of the dragon but a human. Princess also asked permission to both dragons to be allowed to find her parents. But for fear of losing his adopted son, the two dragons never allowed the princess to get out of his home.

One day, the two dragons were about to leave for a long time. After leaving the princess for quite a long time, the princess desperate to get out of her cave and go to the coast. There, there is a ship that boarded a prince who fell in love with the princess. Finally, the princess was taken by the ship to search for his biological parents.

The female dragon who felt uncomfortable, finally decided to go back and sure enough she no longer find her daughter in the cave. The two angry dragons searched on every ship they encountered in the ocean until finally meeting a ship carrying his daughter. Wrath these two dragons and ransacked the ship.

The shouting and roar of the frightened crew were disturbing the hermitage of Mr. Tapa. Come out Mr. Tapa from the shelter and transform him into a giant. He headed to the top of a mountain before jumping into the ocean to fight the two dragons. In that leap, Mr. Tapa rests on a stone leaving a human footprint of a very large size.

In short, Mr. Tapa managed to kill the dragon with his wand so the dragon's body was destroyed. The princess finally returned to the embrace of the parents and live happily. The frightened female dragon finally escaped. This legend is also associated with various tourist attractions such as skull-shaped stone and a stick that is believed to belong to Mr. Tapa.

After the battle with the dragon, Mr. Tapa disappeared in a place that was believed to be the final resting place of the ascetic. This place is in front of Tuo Mosque which is located in Padang Village, Tapak Tuan Subdistrict, South Aceh.

From the Tapak Tuan Tapa site, Tuan Tapa's grave is only about 200 meters away.

I want to visit that and i also would like to knie the truth or to be there to see what makes that footprint... But that is a little impossible
