This phenomenon has become a spectacular event for all visitors to the city of Maracaibo and a miracle for the residents of it.
During these months there are around 297 electrical storms coming from this natural phenomenon.
A study carried out by NASA, indicated that 1.6 million rays called Catatumbo fall each year.
