Lucid Dream Induction - "Neuroscape" - Binaural Beats (90 Min Sleep Cycle)
I once listened to this video every night for 1 year, in hopes of having lucid dreams. After that year I gave up. In the next few months after I stopped listening to my surprise I had several lucid dreams. I was able to realize I was dreaming and therefore control my dreams once they started. Most of my dreams are adventurous anyway, so during the times I was lucid dreaming I was able to push the limits. While realizing I was dreaming I had the courage to jump off of cliffs and fly.
These dreams only occurred a short number of times. I believe they were an effect of the binaural beats training I'd subjected myself to for the whole year prior to the lucid dreaming. This is my favorite binaural beats video to listen to on YouTube because it has pure tones without music.
So that's what I have to say about how or if these videos and their frequencies work. That is, yes I do believe in them and I believe they worked for my brain.
I have been listening to them lately and decided I will resume my old routine of wearing headphones at night. I will listen to beats and tones for lucid dreaming and astral projection. If anything significant happens I will be sure to share about it and leave the links to my most useful videos.
I suggest you try it yourself, even if for relaxation. They are great for night-time rituals and actually have scientific research to back them up. Headphones are important because each ear receives a different frequency at a time. I believe if you are left-handed you may have to swap your left headphone to your right ear and vise versa.
Good luck.
Use headphones
Listen to this audio AS YOU FALL ASLEEP, and after you have developed the habit of performing constant 'reality checks'. Remember, this is a tool, and not a magic formula. ;)
Headphones required for binaural beats to work
This lucid dreaming induction is a variation of the original i-dreamer. Improvements: a more gradual descending-step-sequence (alpha to delta) to induce sleep. Quieter and more frequent affirmations. Refined gamma peaks (40hz).
The first 65 minutes will entrain you to a deep delta sleep using a descending binaural frequency + various water sfx. The remainder consists of a low-theta wave to help transit your mind into REM sleep. During this segment I have recorded various affirmations to help trigger a lucid state:
"You are dreaming"
"Do a reality check"
"This is a dream"
"You are taking control of your dream"
Within the theta-wave are various 4-5 second long peaks peak at 40 Hz. ("...an EEG machine recorded frequencies in the 40 Hz range in lucid dreamers enjoying a bit of conscious REM...")
