THE WAY TO MAKE MONEY ON STEEM

There are four major ways, i have seen, tested, and confirmed that people employ to earn money on steemit. These methods of earning are very useful for the newbies, who are still trying to get a solid footing on the steemit platform. Well grounded steemians too may still learn a few tips and tricks from these methods, especially those steemians who just focus on one earning strategy alone and downplay the others. Without wasting too much time on preliminaries, here are the four ways to earn on steemit, plus the secret earning strategy at the bottom of this post.

1. Earning SBD from daily SBD giveaway programs:
   As simple as this may seem, this earning method does reward a handsome amount of SBD over time, especially if you are receiving free SBD from more than 3 giveaway programs. And what does it cost you to get these SBD? Usually just an upvote entitles you to a share in the daily reward pool, sometimes, some require you to comment, follow and maybe resteem. 2. Earning Steem Power (SP)and Steem Dollars (SBD) from reading newly created posts of steemit users and commenting on them:
   This is one of the undervalued, but highly lucrative ways of earning on steemit. Go to the steemit "home" and "new" feeds, look for interesting content newly posted by Whales especially, and dolphins, and really good quality content by minnows. Read their posts, and make meaningful contributions, suggestions, observations or opinions by commenting as a reply to their post. A lot of times, the authors of such posts or other readers (especially whales and dolphins), will upvote your comments. Some of these upvotes are worth as little as $0.01 to $10 depending on the voting weight and steem power of the upvoter. Making 5 to 10 or more meaningful comments like this daily on other peoples posts, can earn you a relatively steady income stream over time on the steemit platform

3. Earning by posting interesting, good quality content:
   This is a earning system which many steemit users are already familiar with. We all know the golden rules of steemit, which are not to post plagiarized content and to always reference your work if its borrowed or copied from somewhere else.
   This is by all means the best way of earning on steemit, but it works best for steemit users who have taken time to build a steady crop of followers who have interest in the topics which they post regularly on. Posting regularly on topics you are comfortable with, have the interest in, and can be most expressive about, is necessary for you to build a large followership of readers who will earn you more income as you keep posting good content and attracting the attention of more followers

4. Earning by employing curating strategies:
   This is another earning strategy that steemit veterans fully maximize, but many newbies to steemit are yet to fully understand and harness to their advantage. So let me explain how it works quickly. To earn money from curating peoples post, you have to time the posts when they are created, and analyse the posts if they are good quality posts that may attract the attention of other curators, and vote on them on time before they receive too many upvotes. BUT THERE IS A CATCH!
   So here are some tips to maximize your curation earnings:

Vote on a post only between 20 to 30+ minutes after it was created.
Vote on a post within this time range, if the post does not have more than 3 to 5 upvotes already, if the post already has more than 10 upvotes after the 30 minutes range, curating rewards may be too minimal or zero. So its not worth it...
Curation rewards are maximized when you are one of the first to discover and upvote a post, within the first 20 to 30 minutes of its creation not before. Look out for quality posts like these to upvote and you will be earning handsome rewards from curating even as a newbie.
